When people ask me about art in Second Life, Silas Merlin is among the first names I mention. His works have so much beauty and life in them. He has his real life paintings inworld, and makes 3D sculptures that take ones breath away. Even if you did not hear the name before, you may have seen his art around the grid in decorative sims and galleries. As a Master Pastelist (Maître Pastelliste) of the Pastel Society of France (Société des Pastellistes de France) Silas is definitely a talent to keep an eye on.
In addition to his own gallery, Silas exhibits around Second Life and sells his sculptures at the shopping event Shiny Shabby. Another round starts today. Make sure to check out his new amazing set.
